UPRM R&D Center announces its Research Administration Academy for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2008-2009. These are a series of workshops and seminars for researchers and research administrators on topics pertaining to pre-award issues such as preparation of proposals, budgets and electronic submission; and post-award topics concerning budget and human resources, purchasing, receiving, corporate card use and accounting issues. The National Endownment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Stipends Program provides $6,000 for two consecutive months of full-time research and writing. Recipients must work full-time on their projects for these two months, and may hold other research grants supporting the same project during this time. NEH will be accepting only online applications via grants.gov between August 1 and October 1, 2008.
