Academy on Research Administration Issues - 1st Sem 2008-09 (Information)

The UPRM R&D Center announces its Research Administration Academy for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2008-2009.  These are a series of workshops and seminars for researchers and research administrators on topics pertaining to pre-award issues such as preparation of proposals, budgets and electronic submission; and post-award topics concerning budget and human resources, purchasing, receiving, corporate card use and accounting issues.  The dates for the Research Academy Series follow:

·        All workshops will be on a Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, at the R&D Center Main Building Room 123, unless otherwise announced. ·        Preregistration is required for most workshops. Deadline for registration is one (1) week prior to the date of the workshop; by email: cid@uprm.edu; or phone: X-5250 or X-5203.·        Attendance to the CID 203 – Use of American Express Corporate Card – Workshop is a newly established requirement for all researchers requesting new AMEX corporate cards. Thus, this workshop will be offered three times during the semester.Â
