Printer Use Policies:

Instructions for Printer Use:

  1. Send print job from your computer or go to the ETC to print the document.
  2. Go to the ETC and pick up print job from ETC staff.
  3. Sign the Printer Use Log.

Printer Installation Instructions for Windows
Computers:

  1. Open “Control Panel” in the Windows Start Menu.
  2. Open “Printers”.
  3. Click on “Add a Printer”, which will activate a “wizard” to guide you
    through the process.
  4. Select the option to “connect to a network printer”.
  5. Select the option to “browse for printers”.
  6. After a list of printers and networks loads, select “WORKGROUP”.
  7. After a list of computers under WORKGROUP loads, select “ETC_PRINT_SERVER”.
  8. Select “HP Universal Printing” under ETC_PRINT_SERVER.
  9. Enter the username and password.
  10. The server will ask you to install a printer driver onto your computer,
    allow it.
  11. Once the driver has been installed, follow the final steps the wizard offers
    to its conclusion.
  12. That’s it, your computer should have access to the ETC LaserJet Printer.

Printer Installation Instructions for Apple
Computers:

  1. Click on Command-P or go to the File menu and select “Print.”
  2. Select “Edit printer list.”
  3. Select “Add a printer” and “Windows printing” from the pull down menu.
  4. Locate under “WORKGROUP” the computer “ETC_PRINT_SERVER” and “HP LaserJ”
  5. Enter the username and password.
  6. Follow any final steps that might be required.
  7. That’s it, your computer should have access to the ETC LaserJet Printer.
