Porque no estamos considerando aquí en Puerto Rico tal movida tomando en consideración el estado económico del gobierno? Ademas yo pienso que los beneficios serian mucho mas que los económicos, eso seria solo el principio.
Algo que la gente siempre argumenta cuando se habla de implementar open source en la educación es que todo el mundo lo que sabe usar es Windows y se va a perder mucho tiempo enseñándoles a usar Linux. Pues la realidad es que si es diferente y van a tener que aprender a usarlo pero cual es la diferencia entre esto y aprender a usar Windows Vista después de saber usar Windows XP? Otro cosa de que se habla es que deberíamos enseñarle a la gente a usar Windows porque es lo que esta disponible en la mayoría de las computadoras. Bueno pues la realidad es que si uno sabe usar un sistema operativo realmente utilizar otro no es tan difícil ya que el paradigma de las interfaces gráficas de los sistemas operativos mas populares no es muy diferente. También si se implementara Linux y open source en todo el sistema educativo no creo que Windows duraría mucho como el sistema operativo mas popular por lo menos en el país.
