Primero que nada, gracias por asistir a nuestra conferencia sobre GNU/Linux, Ubuntu y el Software Libre. Esperamos que les halla gustado esta y que decidan tratar de usar Linux y los programas libres y abiertos. A todos los que obtuvieron CD’s de Ubuntu, les recuerdo que pueden tratarlo sin instalarlo utilizando el modo de “live cd” o cd en vivo. Para inicializar este modo simplemente ponga el cd en su computadora y haga “restart” y le va a salir un menu que tiene una opcion que dice “Start or Install Ubuntu”. Presionen esa opción y pueden probar el sistema operativo sin instalarlo. Tambien si ponen el cd en Windows, el cd contiene programas libres y de código abierto. Si despues de probarlo les gusta, les recomiendo que no lo instale a menos de que usted tenga bastante conocimiento técnico, conozca a alguien que tenga bastante conocimiento técnico o que le haya funcionado todo en el live cd sin hacer ninguna configuracion. Lo que le recomiendo es que espere a nuestra actividad de “lLaunch Party” donde vamos a estar instalando Linux en las computadoras de las personas que lo deseen. La version que vamos a estar instalado es Ubuntu 8.04, la próxima versión de Ubuntu que va a ser lanzada el 24 de abril del 2008.
